The Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance Aboriginal Corporation is a regional body for Aboriginal arts and culture on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia.  We are a not for profit charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

Our vision is to position Aboriginal Art & Culture as the foundation for the long-term social, economic & cultural development of the Mid North Coast Aboriginal communities.

The Alliance consists of ten Local Aboriginal Land Councils including Karuah, Forster, Purfleet Taree, Bunyah (Wauchope), Birpai (Port Macquarie), Kempsey, Thungutti (Bellbrook), Unkya (Macksville), Bowraville and Coffs Harbour. The communities cover the four language areas of the Worimi, Birpai, Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr nations.

We deliver a year round program of arts and cultural activities in our ten communities with many of these activities featured at the annual Saltwater Freshwater Festival held on Australia Day.  Our projects aim to reinvigorate and showcase our unique and vibrant local Aboriginal culture.

Our stakeholder Board, made up of CEOs from the ten Local Aboriginal Land Councils, ensures effective community engagement and representation across the region.

Our office is located in Coffs Harbour at the Innovation Centre, Coffs Harbour Education Campus. You can also contact us online.
