Join us to help celebrate this year’s Saltwater Freshwater Festival by colouring in a version of our official festival artwork “Fishing Dolphins” by Biripi artist, Corina Latimore.

Children are welcome to colour the page in for fun, or if you would like to win a family day pass to Billabong Zoo, please take a photo and share it to the Saltwater Freshwater socials to have the chance to win.

All artwork shared will go in the running to win a Family Day pass to the Billabong Zoo! The competition closes midnight Thursday 18 May 2023 and the winner will be announced on social media on Friday 19 May 2023.
Winner will be selected at random, children aged 4 – 12 are able eligible to win the prize.
This is an opportunity for teachers, parents and schools to discuss and embrace Aboriginal art and culture.
The original artwork created by Birpai artist Corina Latimore was selected by a panel of Elders and community, and depicts Dolphins hunting for fish in the river, inspired by Totem the Dolphin, which can often be seen in the local river chasing fish for a feed.
If you are wanting to learn more about the living Goori culture on the Mid-North Coast, the Saltwater Freshwater Festival is the perfect chance to see and join in on authentic Aboriginal dance, music, arts and workshops.
